Members of this superfamily appear to regulate a diverse array of cellular events, including the control of cell growth, cytoskeletal reorganization, and the activation of protein kinases. PHENOTYPE: Homozygotes for targeted null mutations exhibit embryonic lethality prior to embryonic day 9.5 with defects in gastrulation. Neutrophil specific knockout mice show defects in inflammatory recruitment and chemotactic responses. [provided by MGI curators]
