GRID2IP1 interacts with GRID2 and may control GRID2 signaling in Purkinje cells (Matsuda et al., 2006 [PubMed 16835239]).[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008] PHENOTYPE: Mice homozygous for a knock-out allele display facilitated long-term depression induction at parallel fiber-Purkinje cell synapses as well as enhanced optokinetic response adaptation.
