PHENOTYPE: Mice homozygous for a gene-trapped allele exhibit growth retardation, a distended urinary bladder, abnormal voiding behavior, proteinuria, renal dysfunction and malnutrition, reduced cell proliferation, urinary bladder fibrosis, and lethality within one month of age.
